One of the most impressive features of our campground is the proximity to Rondeau Provincial park which is a rare Carolinian forest. This unique ecosystem is characterized by a diverse range of plant and animal species, many of which are rare and endangered. Whether you are an experienced naturalist or just a casual observer, exploring the Carolinian forest is an unforgettable experience that will leave you with a deeper appreciation of the natural world.

Our campground also offers easy access to the beautiful beaches of Lake Erie. Spend your days swimming, fishing, or just lounging on the sand, and enjoy the cool breeze coming off the water.  For even more fun, lounge in our Olympic size Pool, play horse shoes, Holey Board, enjoy live bands and many other weekly events.

History of the Park

Wildwood By The Lake is an RV Resort / Campground community that is founded on the premise of family & friends enjoying each other’s company in a safe, clean park benefiting from the element of pride of ownership. The park is owned by Wildwood By The Lake Shareholder’s Association which is comprised of 426 members who in turn occupy their individual lots. Wildwood By The Lake was established in 1984 and has continually grown in size, scope, operation, amenities and evolved into the premiere destination for family camping in Southern Ontario. The park is comprised of 451 sites most of which are leased directly to our membership. However we operate 15 seasonal rental lots and 10 short term rentals for folks seeking a weekly or weekend stay. Park members periodically offer their membership and associated lots and trailers for sale – once you visit us, you’ll surely start thinking about membership.
